Digital Sculpture

In todays session I was introduced to Proportion, Anatomical Dirrectional Terminology, the overview of a skull, Jaw bone (Gonial) Angle and Zbrush. I learned that it is important to get the proportions right for 3D models or 2D drawings.
Sometimes artists play around with proportions to get a certain effect. There are names used to describe areas or specific parts of the body and skull. After learning more about those terms I completed I exercise that required me to point out different section of the skull. The exercise helped me to get some knowledge of the terms used for parts of the skull.
Nose
Before sculpturing noses I learn about important areas in the nose such as Nasal Bones, Nasal aperture , Anterior Nasal Spine and Cartilages are located. Individual noses shape are defined depending on their Nasal bones.
I sculpture a nose by using different tools that I learn about in lesson and another with the help of reference image.
Mouth
In this session I learned about how the mouth is formed , important parts that enable certain movements of the mouth and different types of teeth and its functions. After that I used Brush to create a mouth.

Exercise to identify important parts of the mouth.
To create the mouth in todays session I made use of the Move tool, Trim Adaptive , Standard and Dam standard. The video above shows what I have done to achieve the final sculpture.
Ear exercise

The exercise was to identify important parts of the ear.

Parts of Villain Sculpture

I used my images and some from the internet and use it as reference to create my sculpture.
First I build up the ear following a tutorial and referring back to my reference . To sculpt the nose I created the structure using an anatomy reference and shaping it according to what wanted. The mouth and eyes was difficult to sculpt because I could not get the size and shape right at first.
I still need to work on how to properly apply skin and other features to the face.
I mostly used Damstandard, Standard tool and Clay-build.
