Hard surface Modelling

Modelling artist creates characters, plants and assets. A modeler usually follows concepts from concept artist or they make use of references such as photographs. Their models are textured and sometimes animated. 
 
They make use of tools found in software such as Maya and Zbrush to manipulate edges, vertex and faces of a mesh to create any shape.  There work is done at the early stages of CG and 3D part of the VFX pipeline.

A modeler can work for VFX companies, studios or as freelancers. Modelling artists should have knowledge of 3D modelling software and be able to learn new ways to fix problems.

I met with Julia at university and we decided to work together on this project. Because she had already done most of the shot and documented everything in Wix, I created another shot of the same series and documented everything on my Wix.

I used these images to create the shot.

I mainly used masks to take parts of the images I need, added some color balance and curves effect, and a fog layer on top to get the look I wanted.
